The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts received Center support for the sixth season of Fresh Ink, a concert series highlighting the work of contemporary composers and performing artists. The season featured Grammy-nominated wind quintet Imani Winds with a world-premiere performance by Jason Moran; Bang on a Can All-Stars with special guest drummer Glenn Kotche from Wilco; and the Philadelphia debut of 20-member band Alarm Will Sound with a program featuring Berio, The Beatles, Aphex Twin, and David Lang.
