The Curtis Institute of Music produced Leoš Janácek's opera The Cunning Little Vixen, sung in the original Czech. Three performances, presented in collaboration with Opera Philadelphia and the Kimmel Center, featured Curtis students in key roles: baritone Elliot Madore as the Forrester and soprano Elizabeth Reiter as the Vixen. Opera Philadelphia Music Director Corrado Rovaris conducted the Curtis Symphony Orchestra and Emma Griffin directed. The Rebecca Davis Dance Company also performed in the production.
