New Work with Collaborators Todd Reynolds and Luke Dubois
Meredith Rainey
2010
$20,000
Meredith Rainey researched and developed a new work exploring perception through the vehicle of Hermann Rorschach's famous inkblot test, in collaboration with artist Luke Dubois and composer Todd Reynolds. Reynolds is a long-time member of Bang on a Can, has worked with Steve Reich, and participated in Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Project. Together with company co-director, Sun-Mi Cho, Rainey devised a work-in-progress showing, "Reflections Choreographic Workshop," for invited guests with dancers Sun-Mi Cho, Heidi Cruz, Willie Brown, and Alex Ratcliffe-Lee.
