Glass Persephone and Reich Variations
The Philadelphia Singers
The Philadelphia Singers collaborated with new music ensembles Relâche and Orchestra 2001, in a program featuring the world premiere performance of Persephone by Philip Glass and the Philadelphia premiere of You Are (Variations) by Steve Reich. The program was performed at Annenberg Center Live and also included the Philadelphia premiere of two laude for female chorus from British composer Gavin Bryars' Laude Cortonese.

Ars Nova Workshop presents a new commission created and performed by Nels Cline, lead guitarist for the band Wilco. An expansion of Cline’s 2016 recording Lovers (Blue Note Records), the new commission is inspired by research trips that led Cline on an inspiring journey through significant Philadelphia moments, artifacts, and sites.
