This grant supported the Wilma's 2008 production of Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice, directed by Blanka Zizka and including a commission to Pew Fellow Toby Twining, a contemporary choral composer. Twining's composition was performed live and incorporated as an additional character. A modern tale of loss, love, and grief, Ruhl's Eurydice is the classic myth of Orpheus retold from the heroine's point of view. Mimi Lien designed the set.
