The Wilma Theater developed the Wilma Vision Fund, a cash reserve that will aid the theater in sustaining high standards of performance. The fund will be used to ensure the best possible production equipment and well-maintained facilities, and to support bold, creative undertakings in artistic programming, resulting in performance excellence and superior audience service. This campaign began with a consultancy project that trained Wilma's board of directors to act as ambassadors and fundraisers for the Vision Fund, and that prepared Wilma's development staff to manage and sustain it. The Wilma Vision Fund continues to have the potential to transform the theater's ability to achieve its highest artistic ambitions, resulting in a significant impact on the arts community and a replicable model for how to build capacity that drives artistic excellence. 1
