Sebastienne Mundheim

Performance artist Sebastienne Mundheim is the founder of White Box Theatre. A storyteller, installation artist, and educator, Mundheim has been creating interdisciplinary performance and arts-based community events for 20 years. She began her career as a painter and writer, earning her BA and BFA at the University of Pennsylvania before transitioning into performance-based practices. In 2007, Mundheim created the interdisciplinary performance work Sea of Birds, based on her mother’s experience fleeing Latvia during WWII.
