Nunally Kersh

Nunally Kersh, a 2013 Center panelist and LOI panelist in dance, currently works as an independent consultant and producer. Most recently, she served as senior producer of Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, SC (1996–2012), where she curated and produced an annual season of more than 100 national and international performances across multiple disciplines, among them Chen Shi Zheng's 19-hour production of The Peony Pavilion; Anthony Davis and Thulani Davis's opera Amistad; Jerome Bel's Cedric Andrieux; and Kneehigh Theatre's Tristan y Yseult. Prior to her work with Spoleto USA, Kersh served as associate producer for the inaugural season of the Lincoln Center Festival; previous to that she worked as an independent producer and publicist for numerous contemporary performing artists, as well as cultural organizations, including Mal Pelo, Irene Hultman, Diamanda Galas, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Performance Space 122. She regularly serves as panelist and advisor for a variety of service organizations and foundations including United States Artists, National Endowment for the Arts, New England Foundation for the Arts, and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
