Melanie A. Adams is senior director, guest experiences & educational services at Minnesota Historical Society. She provides executive leadership in the development and delivery of engaging and relevant exhibits and educational programming across the organization. Previously, Adams served as the managing director of community education and events for the Missouri History Museum. She is a founding member and former president of Metropolis St. Louis, and has served on a variety of boards in the region, including Americorps St. Louis and the St. Louis Public Schools Foundation. She currently serves on the Black Leadership Roundtable of St. Louis, the Women’s Society of Washington University, and the Saint Louis Public Schools Special Administrative Board. In 2018, Adams served as a Center LOI panelist in Exhibitions & Public Interpretation.
