Kimberli Meyer

Kimberli Meyer is the director of the University Art Museum at California State University, Long Beach. Previously, she served as director of the MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House, where she organized numerous exhibitions, including How Many Billboards? Art In Stead, which presented 21 newly commissioned artworks on Los Angeles billboards (2010); Sympathetic Seeing: Esther McCoy and the Heart of American Modernist Architecture and Design (2011); and AV: New Works by Andrea Fraser, Vanessa Place (2014). Meyer studied and trained as an architect and an artist, receiving an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts and a BA in architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 2017, she served as an LOI panelist in Exhibitions & Public Interpretation.
