Jenny Gersten is producing consultant for the Performing Arts Center at the World Trade Center in New York. She has produced several independent projects, including the immersive, Off-Broadway production of Sweeney Todd and a "live cinema" series of workshops written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Gersten previously served as executive director of Friends of the High Line, and through the summer of 2014, she was artistic director of the Williamstown Theatre Festival, where she also served as associate producer from 1996 to 2004. Prior to that, Gersten was associate producer of The Public Theater in New York City, artistic director of the theater artist collective Naked Angels, and director of marketing and development at The 52nd Street Project. She served as a casting director for Billy Elliot the Musical, as well as for visual artist Gregory Crewdson. In 2018, she served as the Center’s panel chair for Performance. In 2015 and 2016, Gersten served as a panelist in Performance, as well as a Center LOI panelist in 2016.
