Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson is a librarian by training, currently serving as head of innovative media at the VCU Libraries of Virginia Commonwealth University. From 2011–13, he was the head of outreach and consulting at the Scholars' Lab at the University of Virginia Library, and from 2009–11, he was the new media specialist at the Jefferson Library at Monticello. Johnson has spent his career in museums and related institutions, having worked (among other places) at the National Zoo, the National Museum of American History, the Museum of the Confederacy, Valentine Riverside historic park, the Library of Virginia, and the library of the University of Richmond. He was a Center heritage panelist in 2011.
