Alex Temple

Alex Temple is a musician, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who creates works for voice, electronics, keyboards, and synthesizer. She has collaborated with performers and ensembles, including Mellissa Hughes, Timo Andres, American Composers Orchestra, Fifth House Ensemble, Cadillac Moon Ensemble, and Spektral Quartet. Temple has performed with the chamber-rock group Sissy-Eared Mollycoddles and the performance collective a·pe·ri·od·ic. Temple has worked with the New York Youth Symphony’s “Making Score” program for young composers. She received her MA from the University of Michigan, and is currently pursuing a DMA at Northwestern University, while working on a podcast-opera. Temple served as a Center panelist in Performance in 2017 and a LOI panelist in Performance in 2018.
