Joel Aalberts

Joel Aalberts is Executive Director of The Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico, a hub of arts programming in the state, presenting over 225 events annually in its historic theater, as well as another 200 events in over 20 other venues across Northern New Mexico. Aalberts was previously the director of the Eastern Kentucky University Center for the Arts and the former director of the historic Bloomington [Illinois] Center for the Performing Arts. He has also worked as an arts administrator at the Universities of Michigan, Arizona, and Iowa. A long-distance runner, he has completed 47 marathons.
