Bruce LaRowe served as the Executive Director of the Children's Theatre of Charlotte (CTC) from 1993 to 2013. Previously, he served two years as director of development with Belmont Abbey College and eight years as associate director of the Arts & Science Council of Charlotte-Mecklenburg. As executive director of CTC, LaRowe oversaw all aspects of theater operations and programming. In 2005, in collaboration with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Library, CTC opened its new home at ImaginOn: The Joe & Joan Martin Center—a $40 million facility that is among the most unique of its kind in the world. LaRowe was a 2003–04 fellow in the Charlotte Region Chapter of the American Leadership Forum, an organization dedicated to strengthening established leaders in order to serve the public good. He served as a Center management panelist in 2009.
