The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History presents exhibitions and educational programs that preserve, explore, and celebrate the history of Jews in America. Established in 1976, the Weitzman is the only museum in the nation dedicated exclusively to interpreting the American Jewish experience. It is a Smithsonian affiliate and home to one of the largest collections of Jewish Americana in the nation, with more than 30,000 objects in its collection.
