Erin Bernard is a curator, community artist, public historian, and the creator of the Philadelphia Public History Truck, a mobile museum that creates interdisciplinary neighborhood history installations in collaboration with community members. A former member of the Philadelphia artist collective, Little Berlin, Bernard received her MA in history with a concentration in public history from Temple University. She serves as adjunct professor of history at Moore College of Art & Design, and senior lecturer of museum studies at The University of the Arts. In 2016, Bernard received a Center Project grant for The History Truck W.I.C. Work/Shop, a mobile exhibition and series of public programs, informed by first-person accounts of the Women, Infants, and Children (W.I.C.) nutritional assistance program.
