Nichole Canuso's TAKES, which traveled to the 3LD Art & Technology Center in New York City after its Philadelphia premiere, was covered in an article by the New York Times.

Brian Seibert writes: "Like many couples, the two people in Nichole Canuso's TAKES seem trapped together, trapped by each other and the past. In their case the enclosure is literal: a cube the size of a small room. Its walls are made of a fabric gauzy enough to see through but substantial enough to serve as screens for live video of the dancers inside." The two dancers refer to Nichole Canuso and 2002 Pew Fellow Dito van Reigersberg, who also partnered for the piece when it premiered in Philadelphia. Read more >
