Mural Arts' Love Letter in the Guardian

Mural Arts's Love Letter project was featured in the Guardian in 2011 as part of a collection of photos of the 10 best street art works, chosen by designer and author Tristan Manco. The work by Stephen Powers was commissioned by Mural Arts and funded by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage.

"Encompassing 50 walls in rundown parts of the city that could be viewed from the elevated trains, the neighborhood was uplifted with colorful and positive messages such as 'I Love You' and 'Hold Tight,'" wrote the Guardian. Read more >
