Dancing the Night Away with Zoe Strauss at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

In early 2012 the Philadelphia Museum of Art celebrated the opening of Zoe Strauss: Ten Years, a mid-career retrospective supported by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. During the Saturday night opening celebration, over 2,000 people flooded into the museum's Great Stair Hall for a dance party of epic proportions, to celebrate Strauss' work and spread her love of Philadelphia. Surprises were abound, including a drum line by the Conestoga Angels and a DJ set by Questlove of The Roots. Check out Philly.com's slide show of images from the party, featuring Strauss and a few thousand of her closest friends.
