Philadelphia Photo Arts Center brings The Women’s Mobile Museum to the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in a culminating exhibition of a year-long collaboration between photographer Zanele Muholi, Lindeka Qampi, and ten Women’s Mobile Museum apprentices. Fostering access to education in photography, video, and visual storytelling, the exhibition challenges social and economic barriers of the traditional art world and asks the question: Who is art for?
A concurrent exhibition is featured at Philadelphia Photo Arts Center, January 24–March 30, 2019.
