In anticipation of Asian Arts Initiative’s multi-site multimedia visual exhibition Unity at the Initiative, a street-level capsule exhibition offers visitors a glimpse into a replica of artist Jeffrey Cheung’s studio.
Available to view 24 hours a day, the diorama-like display includes prints and ephemera by Cheung alongside prints and flyers by local queer and trans artists of color.
Unity at the Initiative is a multi-site multimedia visual exhibition and in-home experience centered on Cheung’s work and their Oakland-based Unity Press & Skateboarding initiative.
