Theatre Horizon presents the world premiere of its new play, TOWN.
Inspired by Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, TOWN activates a well-known community space and challenges the myth of American small-town homogeneity with a performance by community members and professional actors. Norristown residents engaged throughout the development process to imbue the work with the stories of the local community.
The play, directed by Nell Bang-Jensen and written by Michael John Garcés, features original music by hip-hop collective ILL DOOTS.
