Tempesta's season concludes on May 20 & 21 with Telemann's operatic cantata Ino, sung by soprano Laura Heimes. Written when the composer was 84 years old and in the most up-to-date style, this blood-and-guts cantata tells the story of Ino, a woman fleeing from her maddened husband before being rescued by the gods. Two more modern world premieres, an overture by Janitsch and a concerto by Fasch, will serve as preludes to the halves of the cantata.
$25-$35
Seniors: $20
Full-time students: $10
