As part of its multi-part project Telemann 360º, Tempesta di Mare – Philadelphia Baroque Orchestra presents “The Case for Telemann,” a live talk show and performance about baroque composer Georg Philipp Telemann. Featuring a panel of art historians, musicologists, and psychologists, the program will explore Telemann’s music, legacy, and shifting reputation in classical music.
Commemorating the 250th anniversary of Telemann's death, Telemann 360º unravels the 18th-century composer's remarkable, yet under-appreciated craft, in an effort to revive and solidify his artistic legacy.
