In conjunction with its exhibition and public programming series Staying Power, The Village of Arts and Humanities presents Staying Power TV, a weekly series of short online segments.

Each week features a closer look at the lives and work of the neighborhood curatorial fellows who consulted on the Staying Power project and who serve as leaders of their community. The series will profile their efforts in areas including fashion design, Black women’s empowerment, and organizing young people in the movement against gentrification.

Curated by Monument Lab, Staying Power is a public art exhibition and program series in the Fairhill-Hartranft neighborhood of Philadelphia that asks artists, neighborhood residents, and visitors the questions: What is your staying power in this neighborhood? What is your staying power in a city and world that are rapidly changing?

To view Staying Power TV, tune in virtually on Instagram and Instagram Live @TheVillagePhilly or @Monument_Lab.
