Sruti Presents the Philadelphia Premiere Screening of The Unseen Sequence

Sruti, the India Music and Dance Society, presents a screening of The Unseen Sequence – Exploring Bharatanatyam Through the Art of Malavika Sarukkai, a film that offers a glimpse into the talent and journey of one of India's leading Bharatanatyam choreographers and dancers. In following Sarukkai's path, the film is not simply about Sarukkai herself; it deliberates the valuable connections and departures that the artist makes from a hallowed and, often, unforgiving tradition.
