South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA) hosts two-hour walking tours that explore historic Philadelphia in the context of South Asian American history. In conjunction with Revolution Remix, the tours guide participants through sites in Philadelphia’s historic district, including the Liberty Bell, Old City, and the banks of the Delaware River. Highlighting stories of South Asian Americans in Philadelphia, dating from 1785 to the present day, the immersive experience offers participants the opportunity to view Philadelphia’s historic district through a new lens.

In August, SAADA debuted a concert at Christ Church Neighborhood House to mark the official launch of Revolution Remix’s online sound tour. Visitors can download the self-guided tour and view relevant archival materials, such as photographs, letters, and other ephemera.
