The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society will open Pop Up Garden: An Exploration of the Philadelphia Rail Park on June 1. The pop up garden will include a series of imaginative installations and creative community interventions by local artists and historians that will introduce audiences to the rich architectural heritage of the three-mile Philadelphia Rail Park. A sound installation created by artist Abby Sohn and archival images provided by the Historical Society of Pennsylvania will engage visitors with the emerging ecology and cultural history of the rail line.
