As part of the 15-month, multi-phase engagement and exhibition, Hank Willis Thomas: Philadelphia Block Project, the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center presents Archive Collective: South Kensington 19122 a community archive exhibition comprised of crowd-sourced images from residents of Philadelphia's South Kensington neighborhood.

Igniting a dialogue on issues related to gentrification, Philadelphia Block Project invites conceptual artist Hank Willis Thomas to engage the community through public forums and photography. The project culminates in a gallery installation of Thomas' recreation of a city block with a series of 1:1 scale photographs of South Kensington's people and buildings.
