Philadelphia Real Book Concert: Telling the Story

As part of the ongoing project Philadelphia Real Book Concerts - New Music in Jazz and Blues, Jazz Bridge presents the fourth and final concert celebrating the region's rich jazz heritage. The performance will feature bassist Christian McBride and guitarist Monnette Sudler as they celebrate Philadelphia jazz, past and present.

The Philadelphia Real Book Concerts are inspired by Jazz Bridge's Philadelphia Real Book—the first published collection of compositions by the city's jazz artists. Through a four-part concert series, the project aims stimulate a local jazz renaissance by presenting performances by jazz legends alongside regional musicians.
