Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, in collaboration with DesignPhiladelphia and Center for Architecture, has organized "Not My Outside World," a conversation on abstraction and social imagination with psychylustro curator Elizabeth Thomas and artist and writer Douglas Ashford, associate professor at Cooper Union and former member of Group Material.

Produced by Philadelphia Mural Arts Program with support from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, psychylustro was installed from April 29 through mid-May, with an opening reception held on May 17.

"Not My Outside World" is free to the public and will take place at The University of the Arts' Caplan Recital Hall, located on the 17th floor of Terra Hall at 211 South Broad Street in Philadelphia.
