The Philadelphia Ceili Group's 38th Annual Irish Music and Dance Festival, happening from September 6–8, will culminate in a final concert that will feature Irish folk music band Dé Danann.
Originally established in Galway in the mid 1970s, the band has re-formed under the direction of founding members** Alec Finn** and Johnny “Ringo” McDonagh. Joining Finn and McDonagh will be past members Eleanor Shanley, Mick Conneely, Derek Hickey and Brian McGrath. The concert, the finale of the festival, will be a night of Irish traditional music and dance.
