Philadelphia Dance Projects presents a symposium and reception for Old City Arts History Project, a research and discovery process to capture the legacy and influence of artists working in Old City, Philadelphia, in the mid-1970s and 80s. The symposium will feature research findings, images, and ephemera, followed by a panel discussion and conversation with Old City Arts participants. Guest panelists include visual artist David Deakin; Barbara Dufty, executive director of Trisha Brown Company; Charles Guarino, publisher for Artforum; and choreographer Ishmael Houston-Jones.
