Pennsbury Society presents nkwiluntàmën: I long for it; I am lonesome for it (such as the sound of a drum), an immersive sound installation created by multidisciplinary artist and Delaware Tribe of Indians member Nathan Young.

Set on the grounds of Pennsbury Manor, a reconstruction of William Penn’s home, nkwiluntàmën (pronounced kwee-lu-nom-in) invites meditation on the enduring relationship between the Delaware Tribe and its ancestral homeland Lenapehoking (known now as the Mid-Atlantic US). The installation features original compositions by Young and others as well as environmental sounds recorded in the area.
