In its next professional development program,** New Frontiers in Singing and Electronic Music**, PMP will present two dynamic panel discussions featuring vocalists, and composers on the forefront of electronic music. This event, produced by the Philadelphia Music Project, will take place on Friday, January 28, 2011, at the Settlement Music School (Presser Hall). We hope you will join us.
New Frontiers in Singing and Electronic Music
Friday, January 28, 2011--10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Settlement Music School (Presser Hall), 416 Queen Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147
Panel I (10 am to 12 pm) will feature vocalists Bobby McFerrin, Lucy Shelton, and Tanya Tagaq.
Panel II (1 to 3 pm) will feature composers George Lewis, Morton Subotnick, and Hans Tutschku.
Both panels will be moderated by author, new music advocate, and veteran WNYC radio host John Schaefer.
