Mick Moloney and Friends: Instrumental Workshop and Illustrated Talk "Into the West"

Mick Moloney, esteemed folklorist and professional musician, will be joined by Billy McComiskey, a master of the East Galway accordion style, and violin virtuoso Athena Tergis on the fiddle. Billy and Athena will provide workshops in accordion and fiddle. Mick will also provide an illustrated talk titled “Into the West.” Following the workshop and talk, their 8 pm concert will present music representative of different styles in western Ireland. (concert is listed separately on the calendar).
