PRISM Quartet, along with soprano Tony Arnold and pianist Arturo O’Farrill, perform the world premiere of works by four composers—Martin Bresnick, George Lewis, Juri Seo, and O’Farrill—that explore the contemporary meaning of walls by giving musical form to questions about identity, community, division, and freedom.

The composers drew inspiration for their pieces from poems of their choosing, drawing from the works of poets Robert Frost, Keorapetse Kgositsile, Waly Salomão, and Guillermo Gómez-Peña.

The ensemble will perform the work at Bryn Mawr College at 8 p.m. It will also perform on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Roulette in Brooklyn, New York.

Subsequently, a video recording of the work will be presented on PRISM Quartet's social media and YouTube channels.
