Pasión y Arte offers this free master class with flamenco master Rosario Toledo as part of its 2014 Philadelphia Flamenco Festival. All levels are welcome and encouraged to join.

Toledo's radical investigative work uses humor, theatricality, and deconstructed gender roles in a creative process inspired by phrase work and improvisations. She masters the strict vocabulary of flamenco while re-imagining and re-purposing it in her own distinctly expressive voice. In 2012, Toledo's unique flamenco style and performance won her the prize for "Best Show" at Sevilla's Bienal de Flamenco. In her continued pursuit of a new, modern flamenco, Toledo has ardently collaborated with theater artists, modern dancers, and musicians from outside of the flamenco world.
