As part of the Center-supported project Maryanne Amacher: Perceptual Geographies, Bowerbird presents Ways of Hearing, a multi-part workshop led by the artist group Supreme Connections. The workshop explores the complexity and nuance of Maryanne Amacher’s artistic practice and her idea of “perceptual geography” as an approach to composition. Participants will listen to and discuss archival audio and view a presentation of unpublished images, scores, notes, and texts selected from the Amacher Archive.
This workshop is open to the public; advanced registration is encouraged.
