The Wilma Theater
The Wilma Theater
265 South Broad Street
Philadelphia, PA 19107
After 31 seasons, the Wilma presents its first-ever production of Shakespeare with an ambitious staging of Macbeth, the playwright’s final tragedy. Macbeth’s ambition to be King of Scotland leads him into a world of evil, deceit, and murder as he and Lady Macbeth succumb to savage drives. Featuring spectacular choreography and original music, this tale of power and madness will be unlike anything audiences have seen on the Wilma’s stage.
