Lydie Breeze Cycle: Aipotu

EgoPo Classic Theater presents Aipotu, the second of three performances in Tony Award-winning playwright John Guare's Lydie Breeze Trilogy. In development for 30 years, the full trilogy has never reached completion as the single theatrical experience Guare intended it to be, until now. Set between the Civil War and the birth of 20th-century industrialism, the second part of the epic trilogy moves through the Civil War and American Utopianism. EgoPo will present each of the three plays with two-week individual runs, followed by two weeks of performances offering the complete three-play cycle staged over the course of a full day.
