LIVE REMIX is a three-part event guest curated by Tom Sellar, including a discussion with director Ivo van Hove about his oeuvre of film-to-stage adaptations; an American theatermakers' roundtable on using iconic film sources to create new forms of live art; and a screening of Ivo van Hove's 2009 debut film Amsterdam. This event is part of a series of programming related to the upcoming performance of van Hove's work After the Rehearsal/Persona.

Funded by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, FringeArts will present the United States premiere of After the Rehearsal/Persona by director Ivo van Hove and his Dutch theater company, Toneelgroep Amsterdam, at the 2015 Fringe Festival. The production uses screenplays from two Ingmar Bergman films as its text, though van Hove does not seek to recreate the films onstage; rather, he is interested in how these texts serve and inform the process of making live theater.
