WXPN culminates its Kanaval: Haitian Rhythms & the Music of New Orleans project with Kanaval Ball, a free event with performances by Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Ram, and Boukman Eksperyans and featuring festive Haitian Carnival and New Orleans Mardi Gras décor, food, and beverages.
The event kicks off with a performance by Haitian folkloric dance company Nadia Dieudonné & Feet of Rhythm.
Costumes are encouraged but not required.
