The Fabric Workshop and Museum (FWM) presents Jayson Musson: His History of Art, an exhibition by FWM artist-in-residence Jayson Musson that examines how humor can address inequality in the arts.

An accomplished visual artist, Musson became an internet sensation by embodying the character Hennessy Youngman for his 2010–2012 YouTube series ART THOUGHTZ. Musson’s performances as Youngman satirized the art-world establishment and offered new ways of understanding the cultural landscape.

His History of Art employs humor to apply cultural critique to current inequalities in the art world, with a particular focus on the entrenched Western, male-dominated canon.
