An opening reception for University of the Arts’ Invisible City: Philadelphia and the Vernacular Avant-garde highlights three of Philadelphia’s major composers: Vincent Persichetti, George Rochberg, and George Crumb. Sue Ann Kahn (flute), Christopher Finckel (cello) and Andrew Willis (piano) will perform their work beginning at 7 p.m., following a reception that begins at 5 p.m.
