Part of The Trust for Public Land’s community-based project Heat Response: Creative action for Philly’s rising temperatures, a series of weekly public programs engage elementary school-age children in Philadelphia’s Grays Ferry neighborhood.
Local fourth and fifth graders are invited to join community artists to draw, design, and sculpt ideas for a gigantic cooling sculpture for Lanier Park.
The programs are free to attend and will take place on Saturdays between October 10 and November 21, 2020.
