In conjunction with The Great Migration: A City Transformed, a multi-media exhibition exploring the history and impact of the Great Migration on Philadelphia (1916-30), Scribe Video Center presents the Precious Places Community History Project. Bringing together Philadelphia community groups, videographers, and humanities scholars, the community history project explores how the history of specific Philadelphia sites have defined neighborhoods and affected the lives of local residents, particularly during the time period of the Great Migration.
