Do you feel intimidated by dance classes? Do you feel bored by fitness classes? Want to learn and explore dance in a supportive environment that values creativity and personal expression? CardioCreativity, hosted by dancers Gabrielle Revlock and Nicole Bindler, creators of The Dance Apocalypse, is an alternative to mainstream dancercize and a place to get to know dance from the inside.
Revlock and Bindler will lead participants through an all-levels class that includes wild music, hearty laughter, and opportunities to create while moving together in community with fun, friendly people. No previous dance experience is necessary. People who have felt discouraged from movement classes in the past due to size, age, ability, or financial hardship are especially encouraged to join. Email questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Classes take place on Mondays from 5:45–6:45 p.m. and will culminate in a final performance on April 7 at 7 p.m. at FringeArts, located at 140 North Columbus Boulevard. Class participants are welcome to participate in the show or attend for free.
