Performed by pianist Jonathan Biss and tenor Mark Padmore, this concert illuminates Schubert's break from convention to forge new compositional paths.
Departure and Discovery: New Directions at the Apex of Creativity is a concert series featuring three performances providing new insights into the forms of expression found in the late stages of the lives of nine great composers, including Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and Schubert.
